Disability Insurance
Sudden illness or injury can result in loss of income, which is critical to most people and their families.

Disability insurance provides protection against this by paying a monthly benefit when unable to work. The amount of insurance and the costs vary depending on your age, income and occupation. The amount of coverage is usually 2/3 of your current gross monthly earnings. The paid benefits are tax free as long as you pay 100% of the premium. The benefit period can vary from 5 years to age 65.
