Biography
Lisa Joncas began her insurance career more than 20 years ago with Maritime Medical Care Inc. & MSI in Dartmouth, NS. She became the first External Customer Service Representative in the history of the company as well as the first female Direct Sales Representative. Lisa helped to acquire and maintain a block of more than 300 group insurance plans.

In 1999 Maritime Medical Care and Blue Cross of Atlantic Canada merged to become one insurer. Lisa began working with Agents and Brokers across Atlantic Canada. Her ability to relate to customers led her to a position as a Group Benefit Consultant with Owens MacFadyen Group (NS) Inc. in 2004. In this role Lisa could expand her knowledge base in order to provide an extensive array of products to her customers.

L. Joncas Insurance Services was Incorporated in 2004. Presently she manages more than 50 Group & Individual clients in Atlantic Canada, most of which have entrusted their insurance needs with her for more than 10 years. From MSI to MMC/BC to Advisor, this extensive experience has helped Lisa become a very prominent, knowledgeable and well respected member of her industry.
